Nearly a century of moving families

Nobody quite remembers when grandfather Feitsma started.

Feitsma Verhuizingen is a Haarlem family business that has been moving people since 1927, now in its third generation. We have carried out more than 50,000 removals by our own estimate, with our own people and our own equipment, we are an Erkende Verhuizer (the Dutch recognised-mover accreditation) and we insure your household contents and both homes up to 100,000 euros with no excess.

Feitsma Verhuizingen has been a familiar name in Haarlem for a long time. So long, in fact, that nobody quite remembers when grandfather Feitsma first started moving people. The earliest Feitsma adverts in the Haarlems Dagblad date from 1930. For the sake of simplicity we put the founding year at 1927.

The name stayed, and so did the way we work.

Since then the name has stayed and a fair amount else has changed. What stayed the same is the way we work: people from the neighbourhood, equipment we own ourselves, and a removal you do not have to arrange yourself.

More than 50,000 removals, passed from generation to generation.

Over all those years we have carried out more than 50,000 removals in Haarlem and the surrounding area by our own estimate, with the craft of moving passed from generation to generation. We feel safe saying that we know our trade and that your household contents are in good hands with us.
